While the earth branch uses 12 zodiacs, namely Rat, Buffalo, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Chicken, Dog, and Pig. Which is then mapped with the hour of birth, date of birth, month of birth, and year of birth of the person concerned.

The five elements (Wu Xing) are further divided into two parts, namely Yin and Yang. Which is then referred to as the stem of Lagit or Tian Gan. These 10 celestial bars are used as the basis for analyzing the character and fortune of a person (Day Master) in a BaZi or Ramal Bazi consultation.
