How to Heal the Root Chakra

There are seven energies in our body that are placed in seven places. They distribute every life energy to us. These chakras are the root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, third eye chakra, and crown chakra. Among all these chakras, the root chakra is the foundation of all the other chakras. It is located at the base of the spine and is red in color. Signs of a balanced root chakra are feelings of security and stability. You can do some Chakra Healing.

However, this chakra is out of balance causing anxiety, fear, pain, and nightmares.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a great way to balance the root chakra. Burn essential oils and candles to use this technique on the chakras. You can also burn incense like sandalwood, rosewood, black pepper, cloves, and cedarwood.

Say affirmative words to yourself
Saying words firmly will increase your sense of security. So, repeat affirmative words to yourself like I’m safe, I love my body, I’m financially secure, my home is safe, and so on.

Yoga
Yoga asanas are another great way to heal your root chakra and balance it. So exercises like squats, warrior, mountain, goddess, child’s pose, and others.

Try to connect with the earth
Meditation is one of the best ways to connect with the earth to increase your root chakra. So, practice meditation to heal the chakras. If you find it difficult to meditate, try walking meditation on sand or grass to make a connection with the earth.

Heal past trauma
A balanced root chakra often depends on your healing from past insecurities. So, try to focus on past incidents related to family, safety, and security and try to heal them to increase the root chakra.
